WEBSITE ONBOARDING PROCESS
The process begins with a comprehensive website audit to determine the status of your WordPress site to ensure it is eligible for a care plan*.

Website Discovery Audit
Whether AURA hasn’t developed your website, or it’s been a long time since we did, we’ll first need to go through some website discovery to get familiar with it. For more details see step 2.
We will carry out an audit to find out how it was built and identify any potential issues that could have a negative impact.
Most importantly, you’ll receive a report with the status of your site, recommendations on what needs to be improved, and a tailored quote to fix everything.
This initial audit is mandatory and must be ordered as a prepaid service.

Healthy Website
Keep in mind that before ordering any of our monthly maintenance plans, your website must be healthy, since the Care Plans are valid only for websites that are running correctly.
If that is not the case because your WordPress has issues, is broken or infected, considerer that you must first order a One-Time Cleanup or One-Time Fix service to fix it and then everything will be ready for us to take over.
It is also a mandatory requirement that the WordPress core be updated to its latest version, and likewise the plugins and themes. In the case of premium plugins that require a license, the partner agency must provide them, being the only one that will bear the corresponding cost.

Initial Backup
Whether you purchase a Basic, Advanced, or Agency Bundle Care Plan, you’ll receive a comprehensive initial backup for each site included in your purchased plan at no charge.
From this moment on, the AURA support team will be in charge of monitoring the online status of the website minute by minute. We will keep everything updated so that everything works correctly.
We’ll do your updates during low-traffic hours to make sure nothing goes wrong during prime time or negatively impacts site performance. If any error occurs, we will fix it in no time.
We will also inform you about those plugins that may be obsolete or discontinued by their developer company. In such a case, we will suggest you an alternative for its replacement, whenever it exists.

Also, we are always proactive in preventing security issues. However, nobody can assume they will never come up. If something unexpected happens, we’ll work to figure out the best solution to fix it in no time.

Monthly Reporting
On a monthly basis, we compile and send you a white-label report detailing updates and optimizations made, performance grade, backups taken, security scan runs and details of uptime and downtime.
In addition, each monthly plan includes direct communication with real humans via chat or WhatsApp, whatever you prefer.

Extra Benefits
We love teamwork and we’re sure you will too! Therefore, each monthly plan includes minor tasks that we perform for free every month to ease the burden on your agency team.
A small task can be text changes, a photo replacement, or anything we can do in less than 30 minutes. You can request up to five (5) monthly minor tasks per web.
Neither plan includes style customizations, responsive Bug-Fixes, or any SEO services. It also does not cover the implementation of new plugins, features or functionality, for all of that you can request a quote.
*The Care Plans does not cover plugins and themes that have been developed under the custom modality.
Nor does it cover problems, infections or malfunctions prior to contracting our care plan or after it is valid. For such cases, you must first order one of the following One-Time Fix or One-Time Cleanup Services, as appropriate to the situation of your website.
